About Us
Red Arrow Therapeutics spun out of the University of Tokyo in 2021 to save patients' lives with the power of pH-sensitive nanopolymer drug delivery technology. We have raised $8.5M as of end of Aug 2024, and our first pipeline aims to deliver IL-12 for solid tumor treatment.
Role Overview
We are currently looking for a fractional CSO who aligns with the company vision, can lead the scientific story creation, and evangelize it to potential investors in tandem with the CEO.
Responsibilities
- Expected commitment: 2,3 hours a week
- With the CEO, communicate with potential investors on the development story of our lead compound, from preclinical to early clinical
- Lead creation of the preclinical development strategy, including efficacy and safety studies. These include IND-required studies and may include value generation studies for fundraising.
- Communicate with CROs to execute above studies. (Note: actual protocol creation can be done by CROs and external pharmacology/tox consultants)
- Interpret study results and update the development story/strategy
- Communicate with the discovery research and CMC team and incorporate such aspects into the development strategy
Qualifications
- PhD in a relevant field
- 10+ years work experience in preclinical/translational research in the immuno-oncology field
- Work experience in a start-up environment
Preferred Skills
- 20+ years work experience in preclinical/translational research in the immuno-oncology field
- Work experience in a pharma environment
- Experience of contributing to fundraising efforts at a start-up in the US
