Upcision is a growing full-stack B2B Sales & Marketing company who has grown 120% in 2023 and who's aim is to grow another 3-5x in the next 18 months. We have a great, in-demand product (B2B sales qualified leads & appointments) that's industry-agnostic. We have a fantastic core of people on our team who love working together: They're engaged dedicated to their work. At the same time, we know we need some extra firepower, vision & operations/managerial know-how at the top to get to the next level who can own the development/management of day-to-day/tactical operations.

About You

This is an important hire that will start as a fractional COO with a potential to grow to deeper cooperation. We want someone who has "been there, done that" who has worked hands-on building a managerial/operations structure that can accomplish multiple business processes at the same time & flawlessly.

You're someone who has excelled in a growth-stage company and know what it takes to keep existing processes running/optimized, while building new processes to service different client types and needs simultaneously. You're someone who knows what's needed at each position & has a track record of doing the build/implementation.

What we don't want? A "consultant" type to draw organizational charts and tell us "what we ought to do" This is not a position for the "ideas-type person" who is light on executional acumen. You're someone who has not only the intellect and vision, but who knows how to get hands-on and see a project through to success with your own hands. You love a challenge, you think big & you are able to get it done. You have exceptionally high standards & love doing something special.

You love urgency. Full intensity day in and day out is what you give to everything you do. Your energy is contagious & you make the people around you better.

Examples of Business Processes that will be overseen: (Not directly, but more so setting up managers, teams & reporting/oversight structures for these said processes)

  • Installing proper SOPs, reporting, personnel + chain of command/cohesiveness throughout our business operations. Ensuring the "light touches everything" installing proactive (vs reactive) management so multiple business processes are run successfully/simultaneously: This will be essential in our mission to grow 3-5x in the next 18 months.
  • Analysis of current staff/processes: Who is a right/wrong organizational fit, who is in right/wrong seat, where are we over/understaffed, where can we be more efficient/effective.
  • Developing KPIs that are lucidly communicated organization-wide that prompt meaningful results.
  • Directing/onboarding GTM/growth/current client engagement, hiring/installation of key players to fuel our next phase of growth once organizational/process benchmarks are fulfilled.
  • There are other processes, but main outcome is ensuring each process is staffed by proper management/personnel/reporting and is producing an increase in measurable outputs.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years managing operations, ideally in a B2B sales/marketing organization
  • Track record of driving revenue growth through effective sales, marketing & biz dev strategies
  • Track record of successfully managing teams and achieving revenue targets
  • Leadership skills to manage & motivate individuals and teams
  • Experience with data analysis & using metrics to measure success of key initiatives
  • A knack for identifying and solving problems proactively, as well as ability to think strategically and stay ahead of industry trends
  • An understanding of technology and how it can be used to enhance sales/marketing efforts
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written
