About the Work

Our business model is transitioning from a SaaS marketplace to a tech-enabled, vertically integrated mental health service. We're looking for a fractional Director of Operations to help us navigate this transition, update our processes, and own our financial planning.

Specifically, you'll:

• Own our budget, our financial forecasting / planning, and our operating model
• Model scenarios for decisions like compensation structures for our therapists
• Up-level our team's efficiency, comms, and project management capabilities
• Work closely with our CEO to establish company-wide OKRs and KPIs aligned with our business goals
• Help develop our insurance reimbursements strategy
• Work with our outsourced accounting team, and legal team

About You

You must have:

• An Operations and/or Finance background for tech-enabled services in the healthcare industry. Examples include:
  • Healthcare SaaS
  • Teletherapy platforms
  • Healthcare marketplaces
  • Behavioral health services
  • Any startup that works with health insurance in some way
• Expertise managing financial planning, budgets, and P&Ls
• Operations strategy work that includes:
  • OKR and KPI development
  • Process overhauls
  • New technology / tooling adoption
• You can set strategy AND do the execution work. This is a hands-on role

Some nice-to-haves:

• Background in behavioral health or mental health specifically
• Direct experience negotiating with insurance providers
