Job Description

We are seeking a talented Fractional Graphic Designer to assist Mezcla’s marketing team. In this role, you will be an essential contributor to shaping Mezcla’s visual identity across a diverse range of design projects. This part-time role is ideal for a designer skilled in translating brand stories into compelling visuals across print, digital, and packaging. Balancing creative vision with hands-on execution, you’ll work closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure all outputs align with Mezcla’s brand vision and strategic goals. As the lead designer, you’ll have a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on Mezcla’s visual storytelling.

*This is a freelance opportunity and does not currently include company benefits, though there is potential for this role to expand to full-time as the company grows.*

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of digital and print designs, including product packaging, dielines, renderings, website graphics, social media content, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure visual consistency across all channels, crafting visually compelling, brand-aligned designs that resonate with our audience.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing creative excellence with the ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop cohesive design strategies that strengthen brand messaging.
  • Address design challenges with innovative solutions that align with brand guidelines and respond to emerging trends.
  • Work with printers and external vendors to ensure accurate production of physical design materials.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant design experience, preferably in the CPG industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in graphic design, dielines, renderings, typography, color theory, and visual presentation.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
  • Experience in building sales presentations, mood boards, and visual frameworks for brand initiatives.
  • Curiosity and a deep understanding of design culture, with a knowledge of current and past design trends.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to tackle design challenges.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) design is a plus.
