Context:

We’re working with a company that helps data centers cut energy costs, reduce their carbon footprint, and detect/respond to anomalies. They sell a software product that data center operators deploy on bare metal.

They’re looking for a fractional head of product to work with their CEO to help them prioritize and sequence work as well as validate hypothesis about value to customer. You’d be collaborating closely with their head of eng as well.

Because the idiosyncrasies of the domain they’re operating within they have a strong preference for someone with previous experience working on products in the data center operations space, especially at the top end of their budget.

Roughly in order of importance:

• You’ve been a head of product/VP Product/CPO
• You have experience building products for data centers
• You have early stage startup experience
• You have 10+ years experience
