About the Work
We're looking for a Manufacturing Commercial Attorney on a fractional basis (20 hrs / week) to support all legal efforts related to our hardware supply chain throughout the hardware product/infrastructure lifecycle.
Specifically, you'll:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, including manufacturing supply agreements, engineering service agreements, and confidentiality agreements
- Draft, review, and negotiate various technology agreements including software and data license agreements, cloud services agreements and professional services agreements
- Provide guidance on any supply chain-related regulatory and corporate social responsibility issues
- Provide day-to-day counseling to different business units on existing commercial agreements and new business initiatives
- Work most closely with our Fractional General Counsel, including on special projects
About You
You should meet all the following criteria:
- 8+ years of experience as a commercial attorney with a manufacturing focus
- Inbound commercial transactions
- Programmatic support relating to hardware IP, technology and manufacturing issues
- Cross-border, multi-tier supply chain models
- Familiarity with cross-border contracting issues
- Experience both at a large national law firm, and in in-house corporate counsel
- Licensed in the USA
