About Us
Emberline is a new and dynamic firm specializing in evaluating, investing, and growing software and technology businesses. We are a small, entrepreneurial team that operates in a highly collaborative environment. We uphold integrity, encourage self-reliance and value curiosity. Our company mission is to create value and drive success for our portfolio companies through strategic investments, comprehensive management support, and a focus on long-term growth. We believe every team member must be empowered to contribute to our collective success.
Role Description
We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Operations Manager to enhance our company's efficiency and contribute to building our organization. In this role, you will support our partners by handling administrative duties, building best practices, and assisting with investor, company, and deal activities. You will work closely with our partners, gaining a deep understanding of our business and its value proposition to investors. Additionally, you will lead special projects, draft reports and presentations, and contribute to preliminary research and due diligence. Your efforts will directly improve our deal processes, investor satisfaction, and overall business success. This position could have a big impact on you and your career, giving you lots of responsibility and exposure to C-suite executives. If you are a proactive problem solver with strong communication skills, we invite you to join our team and make a significant impact on our operations and growth.
This role is part-time for up to 30 hours per week. This is a flexible role, so if you have done this before in a full-time environment and enjoyed the work, but now have other commitments that make it difficult for you to make a full-time commitment, this may be a great fit. We will work with you to establish preferred working hours with occasional flexibility around business activity.
