Our best-selling indoor and outdoor Dune Lounge Chair has quickly become a staple in homes all over the country, marrying the comfort of a bean bag chair with the chic style of a beloved vintage piece. We are a small, fast-growing Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) brand based in Los Angeles, CA, and have been featured in Architectural Digest, Cosmopolitan, and HGTV.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Fractional COO to help optimize and scale Palermo House’s operations as we continue to grow rapidly. This role is ideal for someone with a background in scaling DTC brands, supply chain management, and operational efficiency. You will work closely with the Founder/CEO to refine our processes, improve profitability, and ensure that Palermo House runs smoothly across logistics, fulfillment, customer experience, and financial planning.
This is a fractional / part-time, high-impact role, ideal for an experienced operations executive who wants to work with a dynamic, growing brand.
Responsibilities
- Operational Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement scalable systems and processes to improve efficiency across the business.
- Supply Chain & Fulfillment: Oversee logistics, supplier relationships, and fulfillment operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Financial Planning & Profitability: Work with the CEO/CFO to manage cash flow, margins, and operational costs to maximize profitability.
- Team & Vendor Management: Manage key operational partners, including third-party logistics (3PL), warehousing, and manufacturing vendors.
- Data & Performance Analysis: Track key operational metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
- Growth Enablement: Support scaling efforts by ensuring our operational foundation can handle increased demand.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in operations, supply chain; experience in management consulting, finance, e-commerce, or retail is also preferred
- Strong understanding of logistics, fulfillment, and inventory management.
- Experience managing financial planning, budgeting, and cost optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Entrepreneurial mindset—able to work hands-on and adapt quickly in a fast-growing company.
- Experience working with small teams and scaling businesses.
