About Us
We're building a marketplace platform that helps businesses get warm introductions through our expert network of professionals across tech, finance, and eCommerce. For professionals, they make money by connecting businesses with relevant people in their professional network.
We recently raised a $2.5 million Seed round and have grown to over $1MM in ARR since launching late last year.
About the Work
We've got a small but mighty team of IC engineers. We're now looking for a Fractional Head of Engineering who can set our technical strategy to help us scale our product.
Specifically, you'll:
- Manage our team of 2 full-time engineers, and 1 fractional engineer
- Set engineering strategy and make architectural decisions to make sure our platform is scalable and stable as we grow
- Our payments infrastructure is in particular need of guidance right now
- Run sprints with the engineering team
- Help us hire more engineers
- Spend about half your time hands-on coding
Tech stack:
- React (web) frontend
- .NET backend
- Azure infra
About You
You MUST have:
- Been an Engineering leader (Eng Manager, Director, VP, CTO, etc.) at other early and growth-stage tech startups
- Comfortable with React and Azure, and at minimum familiar with .NET
- Worked in industries like (in priority order):
- Marketplaces
- Gig economy
- Influencer / creator economy
- Fintech
- Consumer
- You're excited to be hands-on coding
- If you're looking for a managerial-only role, we won't be a fit unfortunately
- Based in the USA or Canada
Nice-to-haves:
- You've built payments infrastructure (processing, invoicing, billing, reconciliation, etc.)
- In the NYC Metro area
