About Us
We're building a fintech platform to help consultants, influencers, and other independent contractors simplify their business operations. Think taxes, invoicing, retirement planning, and more.
We have dozens of early customers today, hundreds on the waitlist, and will be raising a Seed round this spring (Pre-seed last year).
About the Work
Even though our product is focused on business operations, we believe the right marketing strategy for us is more B2C-like. We're looking for a Fractional Director of Marketing that can help us craft this strategy correctly, focusing on brand awareness and customer acquisition.
Specifically, you'll:
- Own our marketing funnel - from awareness to conversion, and every touch point in-between
- Find new channels that work for us so we can double down
- Oversee our high-output content strategy, for our blog / SEO, and social media presence
- The work will be executed by our content production studio
- Improve our paid media strategy
- Manage our $20K / month marketing budget
- Leverage our three marketing contractors so you can focus on steering the ship
About You
Required criteria:
- You've got 8+ years Marketing experience, with a focus on early-stage tech startups
- B2B & B2C are both fine, both is even better
- You deeply understand what high-volume customer acquisition looks like and can point to past experiences where you've done this
- Your marketing expertise includes:
- Content marketing
- SEO
- Social media
- Paid social / search
- Community building
- You've managed marketing teams before, but are still capable and excited to do hands-on work yourself
