  • We are seeking a scrappy and driven technical professional to join our team as a founding engineer. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the core development of our product and potentially transition into the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) as we grow.

You will

As a Flycore Founding Engineer, you will have the opportunity to:

• Collaborate closely with co-founders and technical advisors - You will work side by side with our co-founders and technical advisors to build a minimum viable product (MVP) that aligns with our product vision.
• Engage directly with customers - You will have direct interaction with customers to gather feedback, test the product, and validate our product roadmap. This customer-centric approach ensures that our solutions address real-world needs effectively.
• Drive product innovation - You will play a crucial role in creating new products and features that will shape the future of aviation. Your creative contributions will have a direct impact on the industry.
• Develop and execute roadmaps - You will be responsible for developing both short-term and long-term roadmaps for our product. This includes setting goals, defining milestones, and ensuring the successful execution of our strategic plans.
• Make informed tradeoffs - As part of our team, you will need to make well-informed tradeoffs that consider various factors such as priorities, user experience, and technical feasibility. Your ability to navigate these tradeoffs will be critical for the success of our product.

You have

To excel in the role of Flycore Founding Engineer, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A passion for aviation - We are seeking individuals who share our passion for aviation and have a genuine desire to contribute to the development of the next generation of pilots.
• 5+ years of 0 to 1 full stack engineering experience - We prefer candidates who have a proven track record of successfully building products from the ground up. Experience in vertical Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) is a plus.
• Proficiency in relevant technologies - You should be able to quickly ramp up on our existing tech stack, which includes NextJS, Vercel, Postgres, and ShadCN.

• Remote - Flycore is a distributed team, with co-founders based in New York, Los Angeles, and Denver.
