About Us

We're an early-stage fintech app based in Cairo, helping the Egyptian market go cashless. Consumers can pay merchants, pay their bills, analyze their spending patterns, and access financial education resources. For businesses, we offer the ability to accept payments without the need for a POS and rich customer insights.

We've raised a $6MM seed round, and are licensed by the Central Bank of Egypt.

Both co-founders have deep local experience working at top consumer-facing tech companies, including Uber's Middle East division.

About the Work

Our Product team is small and mighty, but can use help leveling up.

We're looking for a Fractional Head of Product to drive the growth and strategy of our product, by guiding our team.

Specifically, you'll:

• Empower and coach a team of two PMs and two designers
• Guide the team on defining the product strategy, overseeing its implementation
  • Help define our roadmap
  • Provide feedback on PRDs
  • Help the team integrate research and best practices into our product
  • Help the team leverage data in decision making
• Oversee our PLG strategy, ensuring that we're experimenting on new ways to acquire and retain users
• Work most closely with our CEO

Time commitment: We expect this role to be about 5 - 10 hrs / week of meetings, and 5 - 10 hrs / week of heads down work, for 10 - 20 hours total. Given the meetings, it's important to be available 10+ hours per week during Cairo working hours (where our team is based).

About You

You should meet all the following criteria:

• 8+ years of PM experience within tech startups
• Significant PLG experience
• Prior management experience - you should have held titles like "Director of Product", "VP Product", "Head of Product", or "Group PM"
• You've led Product for consumer mobile apps
• You're based in Europe, the Middle East, India, or other regions within 5 hours of Cairo time zones

Some nice-to-haves:

• Prior fintech, marketplaces, or eCommerce experience
• Experience building products for emerging markets (Egypt, India, Pakistan, Brazil, Mexico, Africa, etc.)
