The Role

At Metaversal, our people are our most important asset. We have been growing steadily since inception and we’re looking for a hands-on Head of Talent to support Talent Acquisition, as well as set the grounds for consistent growth over the years to come. 

We are looking for an exceptional Talent Lead to own the entire full-cycle experience of a candidate from early engagement through onboarding. To be successful in this role, you will be a global listener, curious and discerning by nature. You are a storyteller focused on building relationships through high-impact communication. And, you have finesse - you know how to build and create influence with stakeholders.

This role will be instrumental in expanding our capacity to bring in talent while delivering an incredible candidate experience. It will include both hands-on recruitment and strategic thinking, designing and supporting all the functions.

Responsibilities

  • Deep understanding of talent acquisition processes and frameworks
  • Source and reach out to top-tier talent using innovative recruitment methods in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Arrange screening and evaluation calls with potential candidates to assess technical skills and alignment with our core values for open positions
  • Proactively identify and assess talent using a variety of creative sourcing methodologies that reduces dependency on agencies.
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end talent acquisition process, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding for roles at all levels, depending on where the needs are. 
  • Partner to continuously develop process improvements to enhance the experience for candidates and internal stakeholders alike.
  • Collaborate closely with department heads and leadership to understand hiring needs, develop recruitment strategies, and align hiring goals with the company's mission and values.
  • Manage external recruitment agencies and vendors, if necessary, to support specialized hiring needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to continuously improve the hiring process and candidate quality.
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring appropriate and timely responses to candidates.
  • Manage recruiting operations, including interview scheduling, candidate management, and maintaining trackers to ensure a seamless recruitment process.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with a search firm, staffing agency as a sourcer, researcher or recruiter
  • People-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Operations jack-of-all-trades across the talent lifecycle from planning to retention and growth, and intrinsic drive to get into the nitty-gritty details to drive operational excellence across the talent lifecycle
  • Deep understanding of Talent Acquisition (TA) processes and frameworks
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other talent acquisition technologies.
  • Experience in leveraging technology to enhance talent acquisition processes.
  • Knowledge of branding principles and strategies for attracting top talent.
  • Familiarity with the technology industry or blockchain space is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
