We're a B2B fintech focused on automating financial operations through AI.

Our customers are generally venture-backed startups making $5MM - $500MM yearly revenue.

We recently raised a large Series A from top VC firms.

About the Work

We're now ideating on a brand new product - a dedicated AI agent "co-worker" that can handle billing processes end-to-end. We're looking for a Fractional Product Lead to bring this product to market, from ideation through launch.

Specifically, you'll:

• Start by wrestling with the core questions:
  • What's the right interface for an AI agent coworker? Chatbot? Slack? Custom interface?
  • What use cases are critical for MVP?
  • For what use cases and edge cases will we need to fall back on humans to handle?
  • Who's the target persona for the MVP (and beyond)?
• Wireframe and prototype different potential iterations of the MVP on your own
  • At the right time, we can bring in a dedicated design resource when the concept is far enough along
• Act like a General Manager, helping with or potentially owning GTM efforts and/or overseeing operations
  • There's potential to own the P&L for this new product too
• Work most closely with a skunkworks-style team of 3 engineers, plus oversight from Head of Product, and CTO

About You

You should meet all the following criteria:

• 8+ years tech startup experience, with a strong focus on Product Management
• You've brought many new software products to market from zero to launch
• You can wireframe / prototype without the help of a designer
• You've built B2B products that have complex operations and workflows
  • Think healthcare, insurance, finance, logistics, internal tools, etc.
• Great if you're in NYC, but anywhere in the USA / Canada is fine

Some nice-to-haves may include:

• You've played a GM role before, overseeing Operations, Marketing, and a P&L
• You've played a Product Designer role before
• Experience building AI products
• You have an accounting or finance background
