We are seeking an exceptional AI Architect to join a healthcare technology venture spearheaded by a founder with a proven track record of success in a specialized medical niche.

For the past year, the founder has been self-funding a stealth-mode startup, leveraging deep industry knowledge and entrepreneurial expertise to create a transformative solution: an industry-focused Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) built around AI. This platform is designed to redefine patient care by seamlessly integrating AI into every facet of clinical workflows and business operations. With significant milestones already achieved, including a working proof of concept (POC) in beta testing at strategic partner sites, the platform demonstrates its ability to streamline patient journeys and enhance care delivery.

The Role

We’re looking for a Chief AI Architect to take our platform’s AI capabilities to the next level. This is a hands-on leadership role with a focus on developing proprietary models, advancing our AI infrastructure, and shaping the strategic direction of our technology.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development, training, and fine-tuning of proprietary AI models.
• Lead AI strategy and architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Advance specialized transcription models, NLP capabilities, and agentic workflows.
• Collaborate with the product owner to identify short-term opportunities and long-term innovations.
• Guide third-party integrations and extensibility efforts for our AI infrastructure.

Ideal Candidate

• Deep Expertise in AI/ML: Proven track record in building and deploying AI solutions, preferably in healthcare or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, AWS AI services, RAG implementations, and model fine-tuning.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to think strategically and drive transformative technology in a startup environment.
• Collaborative Leader: Skilled at working with cross-functional teams and guiding AI development.
• Travel Availability: Willing to travel domestically 2–4 times per year.
• Commitment to Growth: Open to starting fractionally with a clear pathway to full-time engagement by Spring 2025.
