Role responsibilities include...

• Developing and presenting a technology stack evolution roadmap that strategically implements AI and aligns with Honeyfund’s business goals
• Mentoring the Director of Engineering, Staff Engineer, and the broader engineering team, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and collaboration.
• Providing technical consultation to the leadership team, supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring technical alignment with business objectives.
• Inspiring and educating the team on the latest trends in AI, including practical applications and best practices.
• Consulting on the integration of AI technologies into Honeyfund’s systems and processes, driving efficiency and innovation.
• Offering strategic advice on system architecture, scalability, and security to future-proof our technology.
• Acting as a thought leader and advocate for technical excellence and innovation across the organization.
• Supporting the engineering team with insights and guidance, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and vision.

Why we’ll love you...

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a proven track record of delivering strategic roadmaps and mentoring teams.
• Expertise in system architecture, cloud platforms, and scalable solutions.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies and their practical applications in business processes.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams.
• Experience providing technical consultation to executive leadership.
• A passion for fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

Skills we'd love you to have...

• Optimal candidates will have experience with the following technologies: AWS, CI/CD, TDD, MySQL, VueJS, Laravel, React, SCSS, Bootstrap
• Familiarity with SaaS or platform-based business models.
• Experience with DevOps and modern software development practices.
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards in software development.
• A background in applying AI technologies to customer-facing solutions.
