Senior UX Designer

This US-based remote position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere during working hours in the EST timezone. You will report directly to a Design Director committed to your professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Ownership: Lead multiple design initiatives simultaneously, managing large-scale projects with minimal oversight while aligning design strategies with client business goals.
• Design Innovation: Build cohesive, high-impact designs, including new key brand assets and design systems, using both existing styles and creativity in the absence of established brand standards.
• Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with senior client designers, directors, and product owners. Confidently present design work, gathering and synthesizing feedback effectively.
• Research Leadership: Conduct user research independently, synthesizing insights to inform innovative design solutions. Apply WCAG accessibility best practices to ensure inclusivity.
• AI-Driven Workflow: Use AI tools daily to optimize workflows and build tools that enhance the efficiency of the design process.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience: 5+ years in UX or product design with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, autonomous work on complex projects.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving ability, proactive initiative in design, and confidence in presenting and defending design decisions with examples.
• Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Figma, including creating components for design systems and building complex prototypes. Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, graphic design, and modernizing brand aesthetics.
• Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to stay updated on design trends and implement innovative solutions that balance creativity with industry best practices.

Salary
$100,000-$125,000 annual fulltime - $75-100hr contractor
