Our Mission:
To build immersive experiences, spaces, and opportunities through climbing, community, fitness, and love.
You will be responsible for:
- Provide strategic financial planning and oversight, helping steer The Pad Climbing through its next growth phase.
- Engage in investor relations, acting as a key liaison and building strong, trust-based relationships.
- Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, and providing insights for decision-making.
- Participate actively in strategic planning and decision-making, bringing financial insights to the table.
- Work closely with the CEO, offering financial expertise and support for operational efficiency and growth.
- Facilitate financial education and knowledge sharing within the team, particularly with the Operations Officer.
You will be accountable for:
- Upholding and embodying our company values, leveraging our mission to guide financial strategies and decisions.
- Enhancing financial systems and processes to support our growth and operational efficiency.
- Ensuring the financial health of The Pad Climbing, identifying risks, and capitalizing on opportunities.
You will be consulted for:
- Strategic planning and financial forecasting.
- Investment and expansion opportunities.
- Financial system implementations and improvements.
You will be informed about:
- Updates on company performance and strategic direction.
- Financial policy and procedure updates.
- Any significant financial transactions or changes in financial status.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in financial management and strategic planning, preferably in related industries. Ideally around 10-15 years of broad financial management experience with companies who have transitioned from small to medium-sized businesses.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Asana, and Google Workspace.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
