About Us
The Profs is an award-winning (Education Investor's Edtech Provider of the year 2024) and innovative EdTech business providing higher education tutoring and admissions consulting to clients and institutions around the world. Founded by two brothers with a view to pairing tutors with technology to help students achieve their personal goals, we are headquartered in London and have grown to a 40 strong team split across sales, marketing, tech and operation
We work predominantly in a B2C capacity and connect students, typically 16-24 years old, and/or their parents with professional private tutors to help them get the results they need to progress in life. We also have a small number of B2B clients including the University of Cambridge, Oxford and Imperial College London among others.
Last year we connected over 10,000 students with our 1,000 freelance tutors. 90%+ of our survey respondents tell us they get their desired grades and into the preferred universities.
As such, we are the highest rated tutoring company on Trustpilot and have won numerous awards. These include British Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Forbes 30 under 30, the UK’s top tutoring company and best Edtech company.
