Role Overview
Curanostics is seeking a fractional Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our leadership team and help shape the future of health technology. If you're a seasoned technologist with a passion for innovation, a high risk tolerance, and a keen interest in revolutionizing healthcare through cutting-edge technology, this is the role for you.
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the development of our technology strategy and oversee its implementation. This is a critical leadership role that requires technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a collaborative mindset. You will guide the engineering team, ensure our tech stack aligns with our goals, and contribute to shaping the company’s overall vision.
As a part-time role, the time commitment is flexible, making it ideal for experienced professionals looking to engage in a dynamic startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Technology Leadership: Define and execute the technology roadmap to align with business objectives and growth plans.
- Team Collaboration: Lead and mentor the engineering team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
- Product Development: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable front-end, back-end, and mobile solutions.
- Infrastructure Optimization: Ensure the efficiency, security, and scalability of our infrastructure.
- AI Integration: Guide the implementation and optimization of AI technologies to enhance our solutions.
- Strategic Input: Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to shape company strategy, particularly in leveraging AI and machine learning for health-tech solutions.
- Risk Management: Evaluate and mitigate technological risks while driving high-risk, high-reward innovations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Represent the company in technical discussions with stakeholders and investors.
Our Ideal Candidate
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in software engineering or a related field, with demonstrated leadership experience.
Education: Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with our tech stack is a plus:
- Frontend: React with Tailwind CSS
- Mobile: Flutter, React Native
- Backend: Node.js, Python
- Database: PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Cloud: GCP, Vercel
- Version Control: GitHub
- API: REST, GraphQL
- AI: Google Gemini, LLama, MedLLM
