Renowned for our expertise in advocacy, political, and nonprofit work, we've been channeling our storytelling power into new and emerging sectors. Now, we're seeking a Fractional BD Lead to help accelerate this momentum and shape what comes next.
Past clients include ACLU, Planned Parenthood, End Citizens United, etc.
About the Work
As our Fractional BD Lead, you'll take the reins of our growth strategy while helping shape our evolution as an agency.
Working directly with agency leadership, you'll leverage our proprietary creative process and award-winning track record to forge partnerships with mission-driven brands and startups in sectors like healthcare, biotech, education, AI, and tech. You'll also connect us with larger agencies seeking bold, specialized video content partners.
This isn't just another business development role. It's a chance to work with a team rewriting the rulebook on what creative agencies can be. You'll have the freedom to take risks, make decisions, and leave your mark.
Specifically, you'll:
- Help us re-position our brand and sales pitch to better attract our new ideal clients
- Leverage your network within the agency and brand worlds to help us build a pipeline of potential clients
- Some sectors we are excited about: healthcare, education, AI, crypto, climate, consumer tech, etc.
- Own leads from beginning until deal close
- Have the freedom to build and execute your vision, with direct influence on agency direction
- Work with an award-winning team that combines strategic rigor with innovative thinking
We're currently thinking about this fractional role as needing about 10 hrs / week, with a monthly base retainer around $4K / month, with potential to earn another $4K / month in commission, or more. But we're open to different arrangements re: hours or compensation for the right person.
About You
Here's what will make you a great fit:
- Strategic Vision: You spot opportunities others miss and create growth strategies that deliver real results.
- Experience: 8+ years driving growth at creative/digital agencies
- Established Network: A strong book of business and proven track record of driving growth and successfully closing six-figure video content or agency partnership deals.
- Video Content Expertise: You have a strong understanding of video content strategy and the paid media landscape, with an eye for opportunities across the full content pipeline—from paid media to organic storytelling.
- Agency Partnership Savvy: Deep understanding of agency ecosystems, specifically how boutique agencies can serve as specialized video partners to larger firms.
- New Sectors: A track record of developing successful market entry strategies for agencies expanding into new verticals.
- Target Market Expertise: Deep understanding of mission-driven brands and emerging sectors (AI, tech, biotech, crypto, sustainability, etc.)
