About Us
We're developing a new racquet sport concept for the USA market. We're focused on using a smaller real estate footprint to make the sport more affordable and economical.
Our first location is expected to go live in the next few months, and we plan to open several locations throughout the US over the next couple of years.
The founding team is a group of very experienced hospitality and leisure industry operators.
About the Work
We're looking for a Fractional CFO to act as a business partner to our founders, helping us through our fundraises, develop our business strategy, and more.
Specifically, you'll:
- Spearhead our upcoming capital raise in January, both debt and equity, interfacing directly with current and future investors
- Negotiate vendor relationships and lease agreements
- Create a robust financial model and business plan
- Help with budgeting, Capex, and rolling out new locations efficiently and quickly
About You
You should meet all of the following criteria:
- Have been a CFO, Head of Finance, or equivalent for multi-location businesses, like:
- Fitness studios
- Quick-serve restaurants
- Hospitality brands
- Significant early-stage startup experience
- If all your experience is at large companies with late-stage financing, this won't be a fit
- Can point to past successes with early stage fundraising (debt & equity)
- Must be based in the USA or Canada
