Position Overview
This role is for a Fractional Sales Executive to help accelerate sales for our enterprise e-commerce software solution. It requires hands-on deal execution and structured documentation of best practices to improve team performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B enterprise SaaS sales(required), with e-commerce software preferred but not required. This is a fractional role (12-15 hours per week) for approximately 3 months. The ideal candidate will bring expertise, structure, and execution focus to help optimize and accelerate our sales efforts.
Responsibilities
- Engage deeply in active deals, working directly with sales representatives and prospects to accelerate sales cycles and drive conversions.
- Ensure proper structured stakeholder planning in deals to drive access to power, alignment, and engagement across the buying committee.
- Drive well-structured, high-value conversations with senior decision-makers, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Support sales representatives by improving discovery conversations, refining sales processes, and optimizing deal execution.
- Identify and document key sales learnings to enhance sales enablement materials and internal training.
- Develop and implement structured sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDPICC, stakeholder planning, and mutual close plans) to improve win rates.
- Work across multiple deals in various stages of the sales funnel to maximize pipeline effectiveness.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving overall sales team effectiveness and personnel.
Requirements
- B2B enterprise SaaS sales experience (required).
- E-commerce software and technology experience (preferred).
- Strong track record of closing deals of $50K+ ARR, with additional services revenue potential.
- Experience working with complex buying processes and multi-stakeholder sales.
- Ability to effectively communicate value propositions, particularly in industries undergoing digital transformation.
- Strategic sales thinker with the ability to structure and document sales processes for scalability.
- Experience with CRM, stakeholder planning, sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, stakeholder planning, and mutual close plans).
Qualifications
- Background in e-commerce, enterprise SaaS, or digital transformation solutions.
- Experience working with B2B software serving specialized industries or verticals.
- Familiarity with sales enablement, playbook creation, and sales process optimization.
